First time listing – our cozy cottage by the beach! Equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable, convenient & fun filled stay in Ocean Beach.

This home is located just one short block from the beach and walking distance to downtown OB, the pier and more!

Take advantage of the close proximity to everything San Diego has to offer! Visit Mission Beach, Pacific Beach & SeaWorld in 10 mins. 15 mins get to San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, Liberty Station, Downtown.

The space

*We have a strict zero tolerance policy on events & parties. This is not an event space. Do not book for events, parties, birthday parties/graduation parties, large gatherings etc.*

Adorable beach house – only a 3 minute walk from the beach provides an ideal stay for a couple, solo traveller or small family looking for a “home away from home” or a romantic break to the beach! Ideally suited for 2 adults or 2 adults and a baby/child.

The home with its original 1939 hardwood floors has been thoughtfully renovated, designed and styled for your coastal getaway.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, filtered water etc. It is stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, kitchen utensils, bakeware, measuring cup and other standard kitchen supplies (all included kitchen items are shown in photos).

The living room has a sofa which can convert to a queen pull-out sleeper. The living room has a 40″ Smart TV, books, board games & jigsaw puzzles for your enjoyment. The home has heating and air conditioning (mini split system will heat/cool entire house, but only if bedroom door is open. If you close the bedroom door the heating or cooling with not be able to flow into the bedroom).

The bedroom has a queen-sized memory foam bed, blackout blinds, a walk-in closet and an alarm clock.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is located next to the bedroom. *Note – the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. If there is someone sleeping on the sofa sleeper – they can only access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom.*

For infant guests we provide a pack n play, stroller and several baby/children books.

A washer and dryer are located in the laundry room beside the kitchen.

The front yard is private and fenced. The backyard has patio furniture – dining set, conversation set and umbrella which are warmly lit at night by bistro lights.

For your stay we offer beach chairs, 3 boogie boards and a small cooler which are located in the garage. There’s also a foosball table for your enjoyment – in the garage which is located beside the patio. Garage is used for storage only.
There is a long parallel parking spot. Parking spot measurements: 35.5′ x 8′

Ocean Beach is conveniently located close to the San Diego airport and also under a flight path which means airplanes can be heard throughout the day. Departing planes typically fly between 6:30 am and 11:30 pm. Incoming planes are weather dependent. The beach house has double pane windows and all exterior walls were insulated to reduce noise decibels and we provide earplugs should you choose to use them.

One long designated parking spot available.

Guest access

The whole house is yours to enjoy as your home away from home. There are no shared walls. Guests may conveniently self-check-in using the assigned entry code provided prior to arrival. There is a designated parking spot in the alley. Free street parking is also available.

Other things to note

Be respectful and do not disturb the neighbors. Zero tolerance policy on parties, events, loud music, loud noise, smoking, underage drinking, drugs, ilicit activities or unregistered guests on the property. DO NOT BOOK IF you are planning on having a party, event or large gathering our neighbors WILL notify us and we have an outdoor ring doorbell camera – a complaint will be filed where airbnb will cancel your reservation and you will need to vacate the property immediately. Illegal activities will be reported to the police. Smoking in or on the property will result in a $500 fine.
Netflix and Amazon Prime Video use will require own account login (other streaming apps are provided).
